University Hospital

University Hospital is Michigan Medicine’s primary hospital for adult patients. The 11-story, 1.8 million square-foot, 550-bed hospital houses the full spectrum of diagnostic equipment, clinical laboratories, operating rooms, inpatient and intensive care units, occupational and physical therapy units, and the emergency department. A new patient tower is currently under construction just steps away from University Hospital.
