Board-certified pediatric radiologists and support staff are specially trained to help children feel relaxed and comfortable, while minimizing discomfort and accommodating any special needs.

Pediatric Nuclear Medicine

Our Pediatric Nuclear Medicine Imaging Clinic is comprehensively equipped for radioisotope scanning of the heart, brain, liver, bone, lungs, kidneys and other organs. Most studies are performed at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

Pediatric Computed Tomography (CT)

We use equipment that provides up to a 50 percent lower dose of radiation for our patients, along with high-definition image quality for any part of the body. We also offer 3D CT angiography (to view major blood vessels) through our 3D Imaging Laboratory.

Pediatric Fluoroscope

We have four fluoroscopy rooms dedicated to pediatric patients and our fluoroscopy equipment is specifically chosen for its capability to provide high-quality images while minimizing radiation dose.

Pediatric Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

There are three dedicated pediatric MRI units, one of which is an open MRI. The two other MRIs at Mott have openings larger than most standard MRIs.

Pediatric Intraoperational MRI (iMRI)

The high resolution images provided by this system lead to better precision in complicated neurosurgery operations.
