We in the department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan believe that we can best support achieving health equity by training passionate, dedicated family physicians.
Our leadership believes in the importance of diversity in our workforce to best serve our communities, and we know that primary care physicians are incredibly important for the promotion of health and wellness.
We want to prepare our graduates for whatever career they desire, in any kind of community, large or small, community or academic, urban, suburban, or rural.
Our graduates work in outpatient primary care, inpatient hospital services, urgent care, labor and delivery, research, and advocacy.
